Claiming an Education I agree with the author that our world is run by men but not 100 hundred percent. I believe that sometimes men think they are better than women, for example fixing cars. Someone I know can fix a car no matter what is wrong with it and that person is a girl. This girl is not a tom boy either she is as girly as they get. Therefore girls can do “manly” things and they should not be treated any different about it. As a woman I agree when she says that women need to stop acting dumb and need to speak up. If women did this I think we would not be viewed as less than men, we would be viewed as equal.
Group 2 I was responsible for group two. The things I read were very interesting because it was all very true. I agree that decorating your room makes you feel more positive about yourself. When I walk into someone’s room that is not decorated I feel lost inside, rather than walking into a room that is decorated where I feel at home. Your living space should represent who you are. I also agree when it was mentioned to study in the library. I find that I get more work done because it is relaxing and less disruptive in the library. People in our world are more alike than we actually know and from reading group two it really points it out for you. From reading this I found that I need to change the way I study. When I study I like to be in groups but I always find myself learning better when I study on my own. Next time I have a big test I need to say no to group studying and do it on my own. Group studying is good but not for everything.
